About the role:

As a Manager / Senior Manager, you assume a great deal of responsibility to manage the entire analytical process, become an expert on the client's issues and industry, and recommend solutions that make a real impact. Managers / Senior Managers run one to three projects end to end, have full ownership of the deliverables, and assume leadership roles on their team - as such, your team's successes also enhance your own personal results story.

Exposed to more complex client interactions, managers / senior managers play a pivotal and significant role in influencing senior-level thinking and moving clients to action. You not only provide answers to questions and detail their strategic implications, but you are also encouraged to support our culture of giving back by motivating your colleagues and the firm at large to apply their talents to support a particular social cause.

As a Manager / Senior Manager, you will also be engaging in moderate business development activities and client relationship management along with overseeing high-quality delivery of projects up to and above client expectations.

  •           The consulting position is in the Praxis BET and FIG business units  
  •           Manage scope and delivery of projects along with end-to-end client process management
  •           Lead and deliver consulting assignments – develop content, and project plans, distribute work to team members, and oversee day-to-day delivery
  •           Perform hypothesis-driven thinking, guide the team’s analyses and push their thinking to draw meaningful insights, and ensure credibility of analytical approaches, methodologies, and conclusions
  •           Review work produced by the team to ensure the highest quality levels of output aligned with the scope of work, delivered on time and within budget to the expectations of the client
  •           Lead and deliver high-quality client presentations on projects
  •           Ensure smooth handover of project deliverables and results and effectively close out consulting assignments (including interim and final deliverables/ outputs) with the client
  •           Build strong, trusted advisor relationships with your clients beyond the immediate consulting assignment and identify and contribute to follow-on work and maintain an emerging network of contacts and relationships inside and outside the firm’s network
  •          Tag team with Praxis partners to bring relevant expertise into the delivery
  •           Proactively lead the drafting of proposals and marketing efforts and participate in proposal pitches with a focus on converting pipelines into secured mandates
  •           Develop and maintain intellectual capital and publish thought leadership on focus sectors to enhance our brand
  •           Provide guidance and coaching to team members as needed and ensure a professional and productive team environment
  •           Mentor (formally and informally) other members in your team/ business unit in order to foster a high-performance team environment
  •           Manage internal requirements for quality, compliance, policies, procedures, and systems and related
  •           Play an active part in recruitment and build project delivery teams in your department

Competencies and skills:

  •          Minimum 4 years of management consulting experience or equivalent at a reputed consulting firm with a proven track record in leading a team of at a team of at least three consulting team members on client engagements
  •           Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English. Arabic is preferable but not mandatory
  •       Experience in the Middle East region is considered an asset, with a preference for candidates who possess knowledge of the GCC market
  •           Desired areas of functional expertise encompass, but are not limited to, strategy development, strategic transformations, capability-led transformations, strategy implementation, corporate governance, operating models, commercial due diligence, operational due diligence, carveouts, post-merger integration, and more
  •           Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skill with ability to frame a problem, define an approach to solving it using the consulting toolkit, and work planning for the solution delivery
  •           Coach and build skills in delivery teams and be a role model for future managers
  •           Taking full ownership of project delivery through high-impact teams is a crucial part of this role.
  •           Strong ability to research, analyse and communicate key commercial and operational value drivers
  •           Excellent communication skills and client management skills
  •           Ability to understand the client's needs and develop trusted relationships
  •           Comprehensive understanding of the management consulting toolkit and the ability to identify offerings and horizontal practices that will drive commercial opportunities with clients is required.
  •           Should have the experience and capability to create compelling project proposals tailored to specific client needs
  • Should also be able to lead and oversee project delivery teams and have existing relationships within the domain of interest with senior client prospects
  • This role requires frequent travel within the GCC and Middle East, so candidates should be both able and willing to do so

Educational and other requirements:

  •           Consistent track record of academic excellence
  •           Demonstration of leadership in your educational and professional career
  • High resilience, energy, and drive with the ability to rally resources and maintain momentum with focus on project delivery
  •          Graduate degree with strong academic performance
  •          While an MBA or Master in Management (from a top-tier. Ivy League institution)/ CA/ CFA is advantageous, it's not mandator
  •          Minimum 4-8 years of professional work experience, with at least 4-6 years in consulting
