Key Responsibilities

  • Management of entire accounting record to report transactions & activities, including contracts, client records, accounts receivables & payables management, cash and bank operations, asset accounting, general ledger scrutiny, finalization of accounts and notes to accounts.
  • Handles cash reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, etc.
  • Manage internal operations related to purchases, vendor billing, payments, etc. Looking for ways to optimize costs while maintaining quality level
  • Day to day cash flow management
  • Follow up for billing, invoicing & timely payments
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance of all regulatory standards
  • Liase with & work closely (remotely) with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Tax Consultants, and any such external / third parties that the group may engage with from time to time
  • Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Streamlining work procedures, standardizing internal controls & processes, and formulating cost effective business solutions for enhancing accounting and related operations.

 Desired background

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the mid to senior level in accounting divisions of large corporates
  • At least a graduate degree, preferably in commerce / accounts
  • Knowledge of Indian taxation laws and accounting terms and concepts
  • Prior experience and proficiency in working with Quickbooks

Desired Competencies

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel & Outlook and another computer softwares
  • High attention to detail and meticulousness
  • Comfort in dealing with external auditors remotely
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication
  • Ability to learn quickly to be able to understand organizational processes and follow them
  • Must be strongly process oriented with a very strong ability to deal with a fragmented agenda
  • Must be well organized and methodical in approach and be able to manage filing/database system
  • Must understand the company policy documentation and how to apply them within day-to-day work and avoid leakages
  • Must be a values-driven individual with high degree of integrity
